PRR 2211, EF-22, 1964
Tipton. Here is an original photo that I took in Tipton, Pennsylvania, on 11 April 1964. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #2211, #2220, and #2206. All are EF-22's built by GM-EMD in March of 1963 and rated at 2,200 horsepower each. They're pulling a 131-car mixed-cargo freight train from Enola to Altoona along with cabin car #477018. Wave to the Engineman!
