Baldwin built this rugged 0-8-0 in July of 1929 as C&O #114. It served well as a yard switcher for nearly 23 years of service before being retired in November of 1952 and scrapped. Specs - serial #60927, class C-15, 51" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine wt of 228,340 lb and tractive effort of 53,950 lb. This is a R.D. Patton photo. |
